Is a very history oriented hotel. Photo's and memorabilia were fantastic. Others in our area had first hand knowledge and stayed there in the days of the freight train era.

The staff was nice and the location to the casino was good. The room was clean except the sheets were very stained.
We were put above the band that played until 2 am. We had no sleep. It was very loud. The drapes did not close and was too light to sleep in the room. It was cold by the windows even the water on the sill stayed cold all night long. The rugs outside of the elevator were disgustingly dirty. No shampoo, no coffee pot, not even tissues in the holder. We would not stay there again.

It was cheap ,friendly and close to the casino
The room had a foul smell. We had to get ice from the front desk. The window shades did not work and the pillows were old and flat.

Thoroughly enjoyed the book-in process. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed interacting with them. The room definitely suited my purpose as a stop over for sleep on my journey north.
The restaurant was not open during the week, which is when I stopped there, and after driving 600 miles did not feel like going out for food. Had to order in, and the fare was diagreeable. On checking out very early the following morning, the morning staff member was more interested in his computer than in a departing guest. He did not respond to my presence until I gave him the key and said good bye. Received a "bye". So different from the welcoming staff of the day before. I left with the feeling that I would not return on my return trip south. And didn'T.

The staff was incredibly friendly. The room was great! We really appreciated the fact that they allowed pets. Our dog really enjoyed her visit as well. The complimentary coffee bar in the lobby whenever we wanted it was a great idea. We also liked the shuttle service to the casino. That saved a lot on the gas expense. The bar was nice. We highly recommend the Dudley.
You should have the restaurant open every day of the week. That we found to be a little weird.

I really liked the historical nature of the hotel. I was glad that I chose the Hotel. My room was spotless. My reason for choosing the Hotel was price and shuttle service to the Casino. It was an adventure.
I am sad that such beauty of the city is gone. My younger friends have grown up in an environment of a little bit of luxury, not a lot, but enough for them to be weary of the surroundings. My older friends would not, I believe, be receptive to physical conditions as you come off the elevator. No breakfast is also an issue.

The best that I will say, is the staff was friendly, but seemed overworked, It took me more than 20 min. To check in and I was the only one checking in at the time.
Lack of security, in room. Condition of room overall.

We had a very nice stay at Dudley. Staff was just amazing: helpful, knowledgable and enjoyable to talk to. We liked a very cheap breakfast ($5 per person). Hotel was at the great location, very close to ski resort. We ended up visiting Casino (5min away), one of the nights, fun, unexcepted experience. Room was small, yet just enough for two of us, bed was good, comfortable, tv and radio was there, bathroom had towels and soap, we brought a shampoo. There is a large store behind the hotel if you need anyhing...
Tv didn't have the best sound, but that wasn't a big deal for us.

The room was obviously updated and done very well, Bed was very comfortable, room was roomy, too. The shower head was all we could want, lots of hot water (sometimes in older Inn's it's a problem) The Friday fish fry was filling, delicous and very reasonable. The breakfast buffet was fresh and lots of food to choose from. The staff very friendly and our coffee cup was never empty!
There was nothing we did not like.
